General Information Chanchamayo

The Province of Chanchamayo, belonging to the department of Junin (Peru), is located in the central jungle, and 6 hours of Lima. Its main attractions are a diverse flora and fauna, as well as several native communities.

Extension:
The Chanchamayo province has a land area of 4723.40 km2, representing 10.69% of the Department of Junin and 0.37% of the Peruvian territory. The District of Monobamba covers a land area of approximately 295.83 km2.

Climate:
